Presidential and congressional races; 187 state legislators

 

Aug. 6
Special 90-day military blank ballots are available
Sept. 20
Overseas ballot for presidential and congressional races (only) are available from town clerk
Oct. 3
Absentee ballots are available
Oct. 21
Deadline to request special registration sessions for groups of 25 or more (working for same employer, attending same educational institution, or resident at same medical care facility) at their facility. (Contact CBIA's Adam Ney to set up a drive)
Oct. 21
Mail-in voter registration deadline (must be received or postmarked by this date)
Oct. 28
Special voter registration session for those becoming 18 years of age, a U.S. citizen, or resident of a municipality on or before this date
Nov. 3
  • Special in-person voter registration deadline for those whose qualification to vote was attained since Oct. 24 (by mail, if physically disabled)
  • Special voter registration for qualified armed forces personnel
  • Absentee ballot (issuance) deadline
  • Absentee ballot (receipt) deadline, if delivered by the voter
Nov. 4
Election Day: Polls open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.; absentee ballots must be received by the close of polls.
